Thoughts Collection - Blue Chalcedony Necklace -Specimen No. 1012
I do a lot of thinking, wondering really. Exploratory thinking I like to to call it. Working with my hands keeps the chatter in my brain on task. Hollow forming has always been my favorite way to metalwork. The possibilities are limitless and I do love me some limitless thinking. Creating a hollow form is to take sheets and strips of metal and shape them into various organic shapes using hammers, pliers, and flame. These shapes are my thoughts in sterling silver. Sometimes they are the base for stones, sometimes they are just hollow shapes that become wearable art pieces.
